The Prestbury University is an exciting opportunity for children to experience lots of different activities, in addition to the Prestbury Curriculum. From Y2 - Y6, the children are able to choose from such diverse modules as Cheerleading, Code Breaking, Jedi Warriors and sock puppets. At the end of the module, children graduate from the university and celebrate their achievements. 
The university takes place on a Friday afternoon for 4-6 weeks. In the Autumn and Spring Term, the teaching team (teachers, TA's, Support staff and outside experts) lead the modules, based on their hobbies and interests. In the Summer term, our Y6 children lead the modules (with adult support).
The University modules offer the children the chance to learn and practise new skills as well as promoting citizenship, character development and SMSC. These fun and interactive modules really do enhance our school vision and provide our children and staff, the opportunity to be remarkable!
